As part of its digital training programme, ResEFE is offering a spring session featuring a series of seminars on the theme “AI: lessons learnt”.
Vladyslav Sydorov (EFEO) will speak on “Computer Vision Approaches for Archaeology.” He will present the EFEO’s archaeoscape.ai laboratory, which develops methods at the intersection of remote sensing, computer vision, and archaeology. He will discuss the architectures and methodological advances the laboratory is developing for remote sensing mapping, specifically tailored to LiDAR data in Southeast Asia, in densely vegetated environments.
