As part of its support for international cooperation initiatives, the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Space (MESRE) offers a scheme of internationally targeted doctoral contracts (ACI). This scheme is open to any doctoral candidate whose research falls within the scientific programmes of one of the five French Schools Abroad (EFE): the French School of Athens, the École française de Rome, The French Institute for Oriental Archaeology, the French School of Asian Studies and the Casa de Velázquez – School of Advanced Hispanic and Iberian Studies.

  • Ms Ho Tsz-Yan, for her research project entitled: “From the materiality to the immateriality of chariot culture in ancient China: the functions and symbolic values of the chariot for the living and the dead, based on archaeological remains from the Zhou dynasty (1046–256 BCE).”
