EFEO Field Scholarships – 2nd semester 2026
The EFEO is inviting applications for its fieldwork grants for research stays in Asia during the second half of 2026. These grants are intended for Master II students and doctoral candidates in the humanities and social sciences working on the civilisations of South, Southeast and East Asia.
Eligibility requirements, application procedures and operating rules are detailed on the « EFEO Field Scholarships » page of the EFEO website. The deadline for submitting applications is 15 March 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (Paris time).
"David Ruegg" Field Scholarships – 2nd semester 2026
The EFEO also offers the « David Ruegg » Field Scholarships, intended for students enrolled in a Master II or PhD programme in Buddhist studies.
This programme is subject to the same conditions and terms as the EFEO fieldwork grants, as presented on the « EFEO Field Scholarships » page of the EFEO website. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. (Paris time) on 15 March 2026 at the latest.
