Iéna Lectures
The French School of Asian Studies EFEO and the Guimet Museum of Asian Art, two leading research institutions specialized in Asia,, thanks to the support of LVMH Group, have jointly organized from 2007 to 2010 three annual lecture series that present the results of the latest research based on primary sources and field work.
The videos of the lectures are on line displayed on the pages presenting each lecture.
The videos are hosted on the CanalU web site (Adobe Flash Player 9 format).
- Lectures series 2009-2010: "Imagery of Eastern Asia (China, Japan, Vietnam)"
- Lectures series 2008-2009: "Temple, city and territory in Southeast Asia"
- Lectures series 2007-2008: "Images and imagination: Buddhism across Asia"
Jean Michaud (University of Laval, Quebec, visiting professor at the EHESS) speaks on "Cherchez le messie. Enquête sur la naissance de la rébellion de Pa Chay Vue (Batchai) au Tonkin".
From 10:30 to 12:00. The conference will take place online on prior registration.
