Iéna Lectures

The French School of Asian Studies EFEO and the Guimet Museum of Asian Art, two leading research institutions specialized in Asia,, thanks to the support of LVMH Group, have jointly organized from 2007 to 2010 three annual lecture series that present the results of the latest research based on primary sources and field work.
The videos of the lectures are on line displayed on the pages presenting each lecture.
The videos are hosted on the CanalU web site (Adobe Flash Player 9 format).
- Lectures series 2009-2010: "Imagery of Eastern Asia (China, Japan, Vietnam)"
- Lectures series 2008-2009: "Temple, city and territory in Southeast Asia"
- Lectures series 2007-2008: "Images and imagination: Buddhism across Asia"
The EFEO library in Paris will be closed during the annual closure of the Maison de l'Asie, from Wednesday 24 December 2025 at 3pm to Monday 5 January 2026 at 9am.
The EFEO library in Paris is open at its usual times, from Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.
