Charles Li (doctoral student at Cambridge University) spent several weeks at the Pondicherry Centre to pursue his research on Bhartṛhari's Vākyapadīya, a key text of the Sanskrit grammatical tradition, in collaboration with Hugo David. During his stay, he was particularly interested in the section of this treatise that concerns universals (jātisamuddeśa) and on the commentaries thereon.
