It is with sorrow that we announce that R. VARADADESIKAN, Pandit of Sanskrit and Tamil at the Pondicherry Centre of the EFEO, passed away on 2nd May 2017 at the age of 94. He dedicated 44 years of his life to the EFEO, where he worked from 1968 to 2012. His deep understanding of Vaisnava texts and his great kindness will remain in our memories.
