Jacques P. Leider a participé aux 'EuroSEAS 2019' conférences: "Identity: Forging Regional Belonging in Southeast Asia" et "Current and Future Challenges of Regional Integretaion in Southeast Asia," organisées par le centre des études Sud-east d'Asie de l'université Humboldt, du 10 au 13 septembre à l'université Humboldt, Berlin. Il a donné, avec ses collègues, une présentation intitulée "Ethno-Religious Entanglements, Tensions, and Violence in the Bengal-Burma Borderlands (Chittagong and Sittway Districts) 1920-1960".
