The Vientiane Library

On December 20, Michel Lorrillard is taking part in a round table organized by the Centre Asie du Sud-Est (UMR CNRS - EHESS 8070), the Vientiane EFEO Center, and the Laotian Ministry of Public Works and Transportation, on the occasion of the publication of the book Vientiane, architectures d'une capitale [Vientiane: Architecture of a Capital City] (Éditions Recherches). He has contributed two articles to this book: "Vientiane et le Mékong: situation de la ville dans l'espace régional et la longue durée [Vientiane and the Mekong River: location of the city in regional space and over the long term]" and "Vientiane au regard de l'archéologie [Vientiane from the point of view of archaeology]."
