It gives us great pleasure to inform you that the École française d'Extrême-Orient is about to make its entire “Monographies” collection, published since 1899 and still active today, available on the Persée portal (persee.fr).
This portal, set up with the support of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, and administered by the Persée UAR (CNRS/ENS de Lyon), is designed to host collections of French-language scientific journals and books. Digitized volumes in image and text mode are made available on Persée free of charge and on a non-exclusive basis.

The EFEO is a partner in this operation to promote the scientific heritage of French publications. Putting the editorial collections online will promote the visibility of French-speaking research in the international scientific arena, and enhance the value of our researchers' output.

In order to carry out this operation in compliance with the French Intellectual Property Code, we kindly ask the rightful owners of each author who has contributed to this collection to make themselves known in the event of opposition, within a period of six months from the date of publication of this information note.

Persée undertakes to ensure that each contribution is always accompanied by the information required to be identified and cited (author, title reference, date of publication, etc.).

Persée also undertakes to remove or hide any contribution or illustration in the event of a claim by its author or his successors in title.
