From 25-30 April, Philippe Le Failler did fieldwork in Muong Hoa valley (Sapa, Lào Cai province) on an engraved rock site investigated since 2005 by a joint programme of the EFEO and the provincial authorities. With the assistance of a photographer, artist, geologist, and rubbing maker, the work was organised to gather supplementary material with a view to the forthcoming publication of a catalogue of the petroglyphs.
