17 FEBRUARY 14
The survey aims to locate the Bình Man pagoda, mentioned in an inscription by Nguyễn Tấn, commander of the Long Wall of Quảng Ngãi in the 1860s. With help from local authorities in Ba Tơ and Mộ Đức districts, the team - consisting of Andrew Hardy, Nguyễn Tiến Đông (Institute of Archaeology), Đào Thế Đức (Institute of Culture) and Federico Barocco - find the site at a place called Đá Tượng, locate other related structures nearby and study the history of the temple and its area.
