Les activités de recherche de l’EFEO sur la culture ancienne
du nord de la Thaïlande ont été présentées à la 13^ème édition de l’International Conference on Thai Studies (15-18
juillet) par François Lagirarde (« Buddhology, history, Literature and the “Epigraphic habit” of Lan Na ») et Michel Lorrillard («The
Inscriptions of the Lan Na and Lan Xang Kingdoms – Data for a New Approach of a
Cross-Boarder History»), dans le cadre d’un panel intitulé « Manuscript
Cultures and Epigraphy in the Tai World », organisé par Volker Grabowsky.
