The EFEO Center in Taipei welcomes Ms. Laura Boyer for a one-month stay in Taiwan.
Laura Boyer is a EHESS/EFEO doctoral student and is carrying out archival research from October 2 to October 27, 2023 for her research project entitled “Saving animals. A history of fangsheng 放生("releasing life") in China from the 16th to the 20th century, between institutional know-how and proselytizing make-believe".
