S.A.S. Sarma (EFEO Pondicherry) went to Trondheim, Norway, from 19th to 21st October 2012 to participate and give a lecture entitled « Installation of new idols in the place of damaged ones: with special reference to the early śaiva literature and the ritual literature of Kerala » at the international symposium  « Consecration Rituals in South Asia » organized by the International Society for the History of Religions, Department of Archaeology and Religious Studies - Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
