Peter Pasedach (Department of Indology, University of Hamburg) is visiting the EFEO Centre in Pondicherry from July to December 2012 on a scholarship of the EFEO as part of his Doctoral Studies. He is working on the Haravijaya of Ratnākara, an epic poem from 9th century Kashmir. Having gathered manuscript material from different collections in India, he is presently editing the sixth chapter, an ode to Lord Śiva, in which Ratnākara displays his wide knowledge of different philosophies of the time.
