Alexis Avdeeff, a PhD student in Anthropology at the EHESS (LISST-Centre d'Anthropologie Sociale), laureate of the Louis Dumont Fund for Supporting Research in Social Anthropology, will be visiting the Pondicherry Centre of the EFEO during the months of June and July in order to complete the translation of his fieldwork data for his dissertation, entitled: The Palm-Leaves and the Stylus.
