Valérie Gillet has organised a round table on a study prepared by Dr. D. Dayalan (Director, ASI, Delhi) on the excavated temples of the Pāṇḍyan country. This event took place on 25th April in the Fort Museum in Chennai. Prof. Y. Subbarayalu, Prof. G. Vijayanevugopal, Dr. T. Sathyamurti, Dr. Rajavelu, Prof. Shanmugam, Dr. Valérie Gillet, and many other members of the Archaeological Survey of India, have participated in the discussion, which focused mainly on iconography, epigraphy and chronology of these monuments.
