Joseph Badawi-Crook (Doctoral student, Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa) gave a lecture entitled “What can Greek and Sanskrit sources tell us about divination before Homer and the Vedas?” at 4.30 pm on Friday 26 August in the Library.
Just as French and Spanish, or Tamil and Malayalam, Sanskrit and Ancient Greek are related languages. This entails that at one time, the two peoples and cultures were one and the same.
