Suganya Anandakichenin defended her thesis magna cum laude at the University of Hamburg on 22nd April 2015. She benefited from the Pondicherry Centre of the EFEO, and in particular from reading with Mr. Varadadesikan, over the course of her doctoral work, which she pursued under the supervision of Eva Wilden. Dominic Goodall was also a member of the jury. Her thesis contains a complete annotated translation of the Perumāḷ Tirumoḻi of Kulacēkara and of its medieval commentary by Periyavāccāṉ Pilḷḷai.
