Nirajan Kafle, who worked in the Franco-German ANR-DFG-funded "Early Tantra" Project in the Pondicherry Centre between 2007 and 2011, and who has returned in 2015 to help with the project to edit the Somaśambhupaddhatiṭīkā, a project led by S.A.S. Sarma, has defended his doctoral thesis, a critical edition and annotated translation of the  Niśvāsamukhatattvasaṃhitā, at the University of Leiden on 15th October 2015.
