On 21-23 April at The University of Hong Kong (HKU), Lü Pengzhi participated in the “International Workshop on the Comparative Ethnography of Local Daoist Ritual” organized jointly by the Department of Sociology, HKU, the Centre for Anthropological Research, HKU, the Centre for East Asian Studies, CUHK, and the UGC AoE Project: Historical Anthropology of Chinese Society. He presented a paper titled “A Descriptive Catalogue of the Ritual Manuscripts from the Thunder Altar of Transcendent Response in Tonggu County, Jiangxi”.
