Ms Li Zihan 李子涵, doctoral candidate in Chinese anthropology at the University of Paris-Ouest Nanterre La Défense and EFEO visiting scholar, is affiliated with the EFEO Hong Kong Centre while carrying out field work among the Naxi People 纳西族 in Yunnan during February and March 2017. Her research project, in the field of religious anthropology, is titled "Dongba manuscript transmission: writing system, religious rituals and historical changes". Ms Li is visiting the Centre at the Institute of Chinese Studies, Chinese University of Hong Kong, from 19 to 23 January 2017.
