In March 2015, the EFEO Centre has the pleasure of welcoming Léon Vandermeersch, emeritus professor of the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes and former director of the EFEO, as Jao Tsung-I Visiting Professor at the Institute of Chinese Studies, Chinese University of Hong Kong. Professor Jao Tsung-I, a former member of the EFEO, is an associate foreign member of the Académie des inscriptions et belles-lettres. Léon Vandermeersch will give four public lectures during his stay in Hong Kong. A reception is jointly organized by the ICS and the EFEO Centre in honour of Professor Vandermeersch on 3 March.
