Meeting with Bei Dao 北島, professor of Chinese literature at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, one of the leading poets of contemporary China whose work, often on the subject of liberty and exile, has been translated into 30 languages. Bei Dao is the organizer of the Hong Kong biennial Poetry Festival whose 2015 theme is "Poetry and Conflict."
