The EFEO Center in Taipei welcomes Ms. Emily Q. Lu for a six week stay in Taiwan. Emily Q. Lu is a Ph.D. student at Florida State University and was awarded an EFEO Fielwork Fellowship to carry out her fieldwork from May 18 to June 29, 2025. Her research project is entitled “Toward an East Asian Utopia: Ambition and Illusion in Japanese Military Music, 1868-1945”
