Secretary of the EFEO Bangkok @ EFEO Chiang Mai

Mr. Surakarn THOESOMBOON (Sai), secretary at EFEO Center, Bangkok, is currently on a mission at the EFEO Center, Chiang Mai, from November 29th to December 1st, 2022.
During the mission, Dr Apiradee TECHASIRIWAN, Chiang Mai University, Dr Christophe POTTIER, Head the EFEO Centre in Chiang Mai, Mr Phongsathorn BUAKHAMPHAN , EFEO research assistant, Mr. Surakarn THOESOMBOON (Sai) and Ms. Rampa MEADOR, secretaries of the EFEO Centers respectively in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, met today at the EFEO Centre in Chiang Mai in order to discuss the Epigraphic and Archaeological research in the Fang River basin (northern Thailand) project. Discussions also tackled the workshop planned on the 24-25 January 2023, at the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Anthropology Centre (SAC) in Bangkok. Entitled "Future Visions of the Past: Documenting, Managing, and Studying Early Sources in the Digital Era", that workshop will launch a new four-year collaborative research project of the SAC and the EFEO.
