On Wednesday, October 1st, 2014, professor Peter Skilling will go to Kyoto, Japan, to present a paper, "Building the Buddhist cosmopolis: Language, translation, writing and the universal message of the Buddha", at the conference 'Buddhism and Universalism: Perspective on the philosophical and religious history of Asia', organised by the University of Kyoto and the French school of Asian Studies.
