From 23 February
to 2 March, Peter Skilling will visit Kyoto, Japan, to attend the opening of
the new EFEO Centre (27–28 February) and to meet colleagues in Buddhist and
Southeast Asian studies. On 28 February, he will speak on "Sanskrit, Pali,
and Vernacular Languages in Mainland Southeast Asia" at the inaugral EFEO
workshop on  "India and
Southeast Asia".
