Inventory of Khmer manuscripts
The database of Khmer manuscripts is the result of the work conducted by the EFEO-FEMC research team since 1990, aiming to provide a comprehensive inventory and photographic collection of Cambodia’s manuscripts. On 2023 the databse and the webiste were migrated to Heurist system hosted by Huma-Num. It was set online on the beginning of 2024. pictures and metadata organized in bundles, were deposited on Nakala repository (IR* Huma-Num).

The XXXIIIrd Seoul Colloquium in Korea Studies, organized by the EFEO Center in Seoul, in collaboration with the Royal Asiatic Society, is led by Bernard Sénécal (Professor Emeritus at Sogang University) on the theme: "Life and Works of Seon 禪 Master Seongcheol 性徹 (1912-1993) - the most famous Korean Buddhist monk in the 20th century".At 6 p.m. at the EFEO Center in Seoul.

Colloquium ''Ancient Japanese Book Collection of the Social Sciences Library - Issues and Potential''

On October 14 the Institute of Social Sciences Information in Hanoi, which holds part of the collections of the former EFEO library, organized a colloquium on the Japanese collection, entitled: Ancient Japanese Book Collection of the Social Sciences Library - Issues and Potential.The director of the EFEO, Christophe Marquet, gave a talk on the history of this collection, which was created at the beginning of the 20th century by the first EFEO Japanese scholars, and on works concerning the artistic heritage.
