Library: Inventory via Calames

In parallel with their publication on the EFEO's archive platform, the inventories of the archives of the Angkor Conservation Office are now available on Calames.

You will find documents from the general administration of the department (including correspondence and management of the Angkor Park site), as well as the archives of the Angkor Conservation depot (inventories and correspondence). But also the archives that bear witness to research activities in the field, such as excavation reports and diaries, and graphic documents comprising some 3,500 plans and drawings.

The Paris library of the EFEO is continuing to enter its archive inventories into Calames:
- Discover the Henri Parmentier collection, which includes his correspondence, notes and preparatory documents for the publication of books, his work on the inventory of Khmer monuments, and maps and plans.
- You can explore the inventory of the Cochinchine Cambodia Conservation Department. These archives consist of correspondence files related to the general administration of the sites, as well as excavation reports and diaries, sketches and plans, which document research activities in the field.

In "De la pierre au papier. Les estampages des inscriptions thaïes de l'EFEO," [From stone to paper. The EFEO's Thai inscription estampages/stamps] François Lagirarde (EFEO) and Magali Morel (EFEO) present the collection of more than 3,000 stamps made in Southeast Asia since the end of the 19th century on ancient inscriptions preserved in archaeological sites and national museums and kept at the EFEO library in Paris.
Inventories on Calames

EFEO Paris library is launching the publication online of its inventories of archives, objects and iconography, on Calames.
New inventories are now available, including archives of Charles Archaimbault, George Cœdès, Georges Condominas, Madeleine Giteau, Victor Goloubew, and Christian Pelras : Papers of former members and scholars.
As well as inventories of Tibetan art collection, Propaganda posters of People’s Republic of Kampuchea, and Khmer Rouge’s Propaganda documents circulated by the Patriots Committee of Democratic Kampuchea in France : Objects, iconographic collections and various archives.
