Catherine Scheer
Catherine Scheer joined the EFEO in 2019 as a lecturer-researcher. She received her PhD in anthropology in 2014 from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, Paris, where she was supervised by Yves Goudineau (EFEO). After a teaching fellowship at the Royal University of Fine Arts Phnom Penh (Project Manusastra), from 2015 to 2017 she was a post-doctoral fellow in the ‘NGOs and Religion in Asia' project at the Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore, before joining the Institute for Anthropology, Heidelberg University as a lecturer from 2017 to 2019.
