Entitled The Long Wall of Quảng Ngãi: Politics, Poverty and Ethnic Relations in the History of a Central Vietnamese Province, a seminar was held in Quảng Ngãi for the Head of the European Union’s Delegation to Vietnam and  six ambassadors of EU member states. Their  visit to the Long Wall from 25-27 March was organised in the framework of the project IDEAS (Integrating and Developing European Asian Studies). The seminar was presented by Andrew Hardy of the EFEO, Alain Henry of the Agence française de Dévéloppement, Oscar Salemink of the University of Copenhagen and Nguyễn Tiến Đông of the Institute of Archaeology (Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences).
