Alessandro Battistini is postdoctoral researcher at the University “Alma Mater Studiorum” of Bologna  Department of History and Cultures. His research, within the frame of the ERC Śivadharma Project (ERC Grant No. 803624), focusses on the edition, translation and assessment of unpublished Shaiva poetic texts composed in the courts of South India.
