Vedāntadeśika's Cillaṟai Rahasyaṅkaḷ. The final NETamil reading workshop to be held in Pondicherry was devoted to reading parts of Vedāntadeśika's œuvre, polished compositions in a wide variety of registers: Sanskrit, Tamil verse and Maṇipravālam prose. The workshop, organised by Suganya Anandakichenin (Hamburg), took the form of long reading sessions of different works, led by Victor D'Avella (Hamburg), Erin McCann (Hamburg), R. Sathyanarayanan, Elisa Freschi (Vienna(, and Suganya Anandakichenin herself. There were also guest lectures by Ute Huesken (Heidelberg, delivered by Skype) and Marzenna Czerniak-Drożdżowicz (Jagellonian University, Cracow). The event took place from 18th to 22nd February.
