On September, 14th the French Ambassthe exhibition is mounted at two sites : the French Embassy and the EFEO centre.dor, Nicolas Warnery has inaugurated as part of the Europe Heritage Days in Hanoi the exhibition "Perspective of an era: photographic archives of the École française d’Extrême-Orient" mounted at two sites : the French Embassy and the EFEO centre.

The breadth and diversity of the EFEO’s first academic missions are illustrated in this selection of photos kept in the École’s archives. The first part of the exhibition, at the French Embassy, presents views of on-site heritage conservation and museum creation. The second part, exhibited at the EFEO centre, shows the country and its inhabitants, society, civilisation and festivals. Visitors learned about the work of the EFEO’s pioneers – French researchers and Vietnamese scholars working side by side at the EFEO in Hanoi and in the field
