The Academy of Inscriptions and Belles-Lettres holds a special session on "Painting and Poetry" to celebrate the 100th birthday of JaoTsung-I, an overseas associate member of the Academy, comprising a welcome address by Michel Zink, Permanent Secreatry of the Academy, and three lectures: "Dialogue du texte et de l'image dans l'Antiquité gréco-romaine" by Laurent Pernot, "Figurer l'invisible: calligrammes médiévaux" by Jean-Yves Tilliette, and "Jeux d'encre: poésie et peinture en Chine" by Franciscus Verellen, members of the Academy.
