The yearly festivities in honour of Sarasvatī, the Hindu goddess of eloquence and learning, were held in the Pondicherry centre on Friday 7 october. The ceremony of worship (pūjā) of the goddess was led by S.L.P. Anjaneya Sarma with the assistance of R. Sathyanarayanan and S.A.S. Sarma, in the presence of staff members and their families.
