Lectures by Dominic Goodall at JNU, Delhi, on Cambodian inscriptions

At the invitation of the Centre for Historical Studies in Jawaharlal Nehru University, Dominic Goodall is conducting a two-day workshop on the theme “What might Cambodian inscriptions tell us about Indian history?” on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th February 2011 from 10.30 to 13.00. He is a short-term visiting professor of the Centre for Historical Studies. The coordinator of the workshops is Heeraman Tiwari. Dominic Goodall is also giving post-graduate classes, at the invitation of Heeraman Tiwari and Kunal Chakrabarti, on Dāmodaragupta’s “The Bawd’s Counsel” (Kuṭṭanīmata), an eighth-century verse novel in Sanskrit, and on Śaiva tantric literature.
