Completion of the Baphuon rastoration

The large-scale restoration (1995-2011) of the Baphuon temple in Angkor, Cambodia, has just been completed. On the occasion of the Khmer New Year and to celebrate the fruit of sixteen years of collaboration, Pascal Royère brought together on April 10 his three hundred collaborators (architects, master stone cutters, carpenters, works supervisors, and all the artisans who took part in the project) along with the personnel of the EFEO Center in Siem Reap, for a project completion banquet. The Cambodian National Authority charged with the management of the Angkor site (APSARA) was represented at the banquet by its associate general director, His Excellency Ros Borath.
